Blogging

Blogging is not necessarily something that fits in my schedule, but I think I'm going to give it another shot. This will be a great way to keep a kind of journal for us.

To The Zoo

We went to the St. Louis Zoo with our friends, Shawna, Kyle, and Kayden Asbury, last Friday (Sept 19th) and decided to check out the dinosaur exhibit. So awesome! And for only $3 a person ages 2 and up. Unfortunately Tony had to work but Anthony and I sure did enjoyed it. Anthony was only a little scared. I've got to give him credit because I think I would have been scared to death at his age. The dinosaurs seemed so real. They roared and moved and their eyes moved as if they were looking around. One of the dinosaurs even spit at you. My favorite was of course the T Rex.

It must have been perfect weather because I got to see the Black Rhinos and the cheetahs for the first time ever. And the hippos were getting in and out of the water and walking around. It was fun having the Asbury's over. Anthony kept saying about Kayden "I love that guy! I love him." They had a blast together. Come back any time guys!

Our New Baby

On July 19, 2008 we received our new baby boy Samuel Collin Marcellino. He weighed 7lb 7oz and was 20in long. He is named after his great-grandfathers Sam Marcellino and Lloyd C. Collins. Samuel has red hair and blue eyes (so far). He is a very sweet baby and I've dreaded going back to work. Anthony Thomas loves his baby brother. He said the other day "I love him. He's a princess." He's been watching Shrek a lot.

Even though Anthony loves his brother, we have to watch him very carefully because he likes to use Sam as a hurdle jumping back and forth right over top of him. It scares me to death. Despite Anthony's roughness, he loves to shower Sam in kisses and hugs.

These last few weeks have been huge for Anthony. He is going potty like a big boy! He is wearing big boy underwear! Despite accidents here and there and #2 being such a challenge, he is really coming around.

We had their pictures taken when Sam was about a month old. The photo shoot was right here in my living room. It was awesome that they were able to do such neat stuff right in the comfort of my own home. Oh, and Anthony couldn't keep his hands off the nice photographers equipment. He decided to touch the camera and knocked it right off of the tripod breaking it in half. What fun that was. They actually came back. They came back to show me their work on a CD and I held back the tears as they played sappy music in the background. Then they let me buy the CD which allowed for me to have all rights to reprinting and using the photos for anything I want, so here are some of them.
